As captain of coastal ferry services, Friendship sloops, 50-foot sailing sloops and a host of large and small vessels, Power has maintained his nautical interest and found a balance--between academic pursuits and the hands-on skills of navigating the oceans of New England and the Caribbean. He now maintains a live-aboard sailing vessel in the British Virgin Islands where he continues to share his love of the sea with family and friends.
